On Saturday the 18th of October Friends meet within
the cemetery to undertake clearance works within the old portion of the
cemetery, paying particular attention to the boundary walls. Works were
concentrated in this area as future works will be carried out to restore the
boundary walls.
In carrying out removal of ivy and
bramble from the boundary walls this will effectively reduce the cost of
clearance works tendered out to local contractors. Below are pictures of
the day showing some of the progress made.
