Friends of Ryde Cemetery carrying removal of brambles from graves on the 20th October 2007
once this activity has been carried out the group where able transcribe the wording placed on the headstone that will later be placed on a data base on this site that is\ currently under construction.

After the initial clearance as seen above the grave was then finally cleared of all low growing vegetation revealing the inscription and iron work along with the sculptured stone work.
